Insidious311
I had this installation running great until I decided to mess around with Bluetooth. I have a Microsoft Transceiver 3.0 but coud not get it to work so I attached a cheap Bluetooth dongle I had laying around. It didn't work so I restarted the machine with the cheap dongle attached to see if it would be picked up. Now MacOS boots up past the grey screen with the rotating circle. My mouse appears along with a blue blackground, after a few seconds, the cursor fades away. A new rotating circle appears at the bottom of the blue background, disappears and then reappears, forever repeating but never reaching the desktop. *I've tried removing all USB devices, including HD and the Bluetooth dongles. *I've tried booting in safe mode from Darwin using -x then -x -f . I am by no means a Mac expert and I only tried this after reading what was outputed from typing ? at startup. *I've also tried booting with the DVD and trying verify/repair disk, both fail (Cannot complete because of the following error: Repair/Verify failed. Yeah no {censored}, but WHY!?! ) *The only useful info that given was "Keys Out of Order" outputed in the log when trying Repair disk. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance. Insidious311
Well I've seen other people here with similar (but not quite the same) problems with no solution. So I guess thank God for backups, eh?
