jabalsad
Okay, so I have seen this question being asked a couple of times over the forums but none of them have a solution... The closest solution I can find was something about replacing some ACPI kext file. This solution is not ideal because I don't even know where to start to replace a kext file if Mac OSX won't even load. Currently if I boot in verbose mode I get to the point where it says "using xxxxx buffer headers and 4096 cluster IO buffer headers" after which it stops. I installed using iDeneb 1.4 and I also tried the 'customize' option where I get to install some ACPI patch. Please provide me with other pointers I will really appreciate it. My PC uses a P43 + iCH10 chipset (Asus P5QL SE Motherboard + Intel Q8200). EDIT: Okay so I discovered some patch BIOS for Asus motherboards which I'm now trying. Let's see if it works Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/174096-fresh-ideneb-14-install-stuck-on-apple-logo/ Share on other sites
jabalsad
The BIOS patch worked, however I have now run into a new problem: My screen goes black after a few seconds of booting... Any suggestions? I'm using a Asus EN9400GT 512mb and I'm now trying the NVinject and other patches included in iDeneb 1.4... EDIT: Yay \o/ my Hackintosh is running Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/174096-fresh-ideneb-14-install-stuck-on-apple-logo/#findComment-1195633 Share on other sites
