Hey all,

 

Please answer my question, Why can't I authorize my computer for the iTunes Store?

Did you ever get your machine authorized? I am trying to finalize my first osx86 install, and the only thing that isn't working (so far) is authorizing the machine for the iTunes store. I tried authorizing it on 2 different accounts with no luck. I keep getting "An unknown error occurred (-50)". I can login to the iTunes store just fine, but can't authorize.

 

iATkos 10.5.7 w/ all updates (iTunes v8.2).

I had the exact same problem after installing iAtkosV7. The next thread fixed the problem for me,

The post made my "The Colonel" is the one that fixed it.

Strange that I didn't find that post while I was searching previously. I finally gave in and called Apple support, and they had me do the same thing as "The Colonel"'s post, and it's working great now!
