ohpow
Hey, Just recently installed Kalyway as the others wouldnt detect my HDD. Kalyway seemed to install fine without problems, but when booting out of that HDD I get a HFS error. I understand that the partition should be set to primary, which it is, yet I'm still getting the error. It's installed on an extended mac partition. I have Windows installed on my primary HDD, where the MBR is located and OSX installed on another HDD where it is a primary partition. Basically, Vista MBR is installed on disk0 and OSX is installed on Disk2. How would I solve the problem, I was thinking of tripple booting with Linux using a grub boot loader. Specs: Mobo: Asus P5Q GPU: 9600GT CPU: E7200 oc'd RAM: 4GB Kingston Thanks. Boot with the install DVD and choose the startup disk to boot, then install chameleon Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173899-kalyway-hfs-error/#findComment-1194280 Share on other sites

ohpow
Yeah, it's a journaled partition. How would I boot the startup disk? Is it under tools in the GUI? ohpow
I did the fdisk command which seemed to fix the problem, which led to another where I had to reinstall using the ess2 patch. Now I'm stuck with localhost /usr/sbin/ocspd[76]: starting then there's a list of my NTFS partitions, it just hangs there. Any idea?
