Skavenger
I installed iDeneb 1.4 with nvkush (or something like that, I don't remember) for my nVidia GeForce GTS 250. Then I followed this guide to install GFX strings for my card, but when I check the System Profiler, in Graphics/Displays I have this: Display: Type: Display Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 32 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x0615 Revision ID: 0x00a2 Kernel Extension Info: No Kext Loaded Displays: Display: Resolution: 1280 x 1024 Depth: 32-bit Color Core Image: Software Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes Quartz Extreme: Not Supported I mean, it says "No Kext Loaded". Is that ok? Thanks! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173868-how-do-i-know-if-my-video-card-is-correctly-installed/ Share on other sites

Beerkex'd
It's not OK. You lost hardware accelerated graphics. Delete NVKush, clear the extensions cache and reboot. If it still says Core Image: Software and Quartz Extreme: Not Supported, your Device Properties String is wrong. If it still says Core Image: Software and Quartz Extreme: Not Supported, your Device Properties String is wrong. Well, then it's not correctly installed. Is there any other way to install my card? Beerkex'd
Try Netkas' new injector (go to his blog to find it) or NVEnabler, which you can find at the Project OSX forums. Remember to remove any other injector if present and your Device Properties String from com.apple.Boot.plist before installing the new injector.
