cFoo
I've seen this problem before but I cannot search for it. I've been trying for half an hour to search for the thread but I cannot find it. I've just finished updating to my iDeneb from 10.5.6 to 10.5.7 using the combo update kit. I'm also booting with busratio=20 because this was needed for my EVGA mobo with Voodoo 9.6. The system clock is now running almost twice as fast. If I change the clock, an hour later it will be 45+ minutes too early. Is my busratio wrong? what's going on? Any idea? Fast clock is normal on the x58 boards when using Darwin or Chameleon1.0xx boot loader and the 10.5.7 kernel. There are two possible solutions: Use Chameleon2 or use the Voodoo kernel. cFoo
Thanks! it was the Darwin kernel. I forgot to re-install my Voodoo kernel. The combo kit installed the default 10.5.7 kernel.
