sharpdar
Hi Everyone, I am a new member and a new user to OSx86. I am having a problem with my graphics card and after searching for days within the forum, I cant seem to find a solution to it. I am having difficulty installing Logic 8 on the desktop system because of the following reasons given by the installer: • Logic Studio Installer recommends that your system have a Quartz Extreme capable video card. • Logic Studio Installer recommends that your system have 64 MB of VRAM; this system has only 0 MB of VRAM. This is a little confusing because I have an ATI Radeon x1600 512Mb graphics card and although I can get OSx86 to give me a 1920x1080 resolution on screen, it say that the QE support is not enabled. I have tried almost any guide on this topic online and feel like I am missing something. Can someone please help me out. Here is my system configuration: 1. iATKOS v7 osx86 installed (10.5.7) 2. Intel Core2Duo 2.2Ghz 3. 2Gb OCZ DDR2 RAM 4. 1 TB HDD If someone has been able to get some success with this problem - please help me. Thanks a lot guys!
