Is TerraTec Aureon 5.1 PCI compatible with Kalyway?

Hi all,

 

I'd like to know if this sound card: "TerraTec Aureon 5.1 PCI" is compatible with Kalyway 10.5.2 ?

just try the kexts for CM8738, i used mine on 10.4.8!

 

with the jas 10.4.8 it worked out of the box for me

Yes it is compatible, you may need additional kexts.

just download http://scifi.pages.at/ffm-2/CMI8738PCIAudi...6.4-1043.tar.gz

 

then: Open Terminal -> cd into the directory -> do "chmod 777 install.sh" -> type "sudo -s" and type in your root pw -> type "./install.sh"

Reboot -> Done!

 

or

 

install "CMI8738PCIAudioDriver.kext" with kexthelper and reboot

 

kext found here
