joe912 Posted May 13, 2006 Share Posted May 13, 2006 ok so i have sucessfully made it through the install and now i am on to booting. i have booted into osx once succsefully. so i boot and it sits at the grey screen with the apple logo and the spinning circle thing, and after about 1 minute the graybox with the cross pops up. i have also tried booting with -v but the only way i could think to do it was with the dvd. but when i boot with the dvd my only boot choice is the dvd, its like it doesnt notice my hard drive. but i can easily install with no problem thanks for all your input ok heres a update, i tried to install on another harddrive and it worked fine i booted up the install disk installed then booted into osx but then i tried to shut it off and turn it back on and when i came on i got the stupid grey box Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/17340-boot-up-and-get-the-gray-box-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
