Hello!

Okay, here we go. Before we start, I greatly appreciate all the anticipated help!

So, first and foremost my main goal is to get Mac OS X 10.5 running on my Asus Eee PC 900. I am following this guide (http://uneasysilence.com/archive/2007/11/12654/).

The only problem is that the eeePC only supports SSE2 instead of the SSE3 that Leopard is coded for. No problem, I have "sourced" a correct .iso image. Now, I have burned the .iso to a bootable disc with Magic ISO.

Now, the tutorial calls for an external DVD drive, an item I have NO access to. So, I decide to install OS X on to my Eee via an external HD (following this tutorial: http://liveslick.com/2007/12/28/install-le...al-hard-drive/).

Incidentally, to do that I need a RUNNING copy of Mac OS X. No problem, I can install it on to my desktop right. So, I try to install OS X with the bootable disc I have just created. I can get to the graphical installer but it doesn't recognize my internal hard drive, nor does disk utility. This is my issue. I believe that my issue here is that the disc is SSE2 compliant install. But I cannot get to my drive what-so-ever, thus meaning I cannot install OSX to make a .dmg of it to make a external HD an install DVD to use for my Eee PC.

Phew, okay. Do we understand? Good. Now my specs:

Thanks for reading and hopefully understanding!
