I believe this is the right section please tell me if it is not.

Ok to the point. I run world of warcraft installer from blizzard, install to applications folder, it goes for a while to about halfway done downloading and a third done installing then I get a kernel panic. No specific file that freezes it just randomly around one third install and one half downloaded. Also happens with transmission after a few minutes (not concerned about transmission got rid of it).

I don't understand the stuff popping up on the screen when it panics except the process causing it which is installer (just called installer but that's what the file is called for wow) (only thing running by me). Any help? I have searched google and here and no solution I could find.

I am running iDeneb 10.5.7 (combo kit upgrade from 10.5.6), All updates installed, voodoo kernel, seatbelt fix.

Hardware:

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA MA770-UD3

Processor: AMD Athlon Brisbane Dual-Core 2.9ghz (overclocked at 3ghz)

RAM: Kingston 2x 2gb 667 mhz

Graphics Card: EVGA nvidia 9500 gt

Everything else works (iLife, itunes, firefox, yahoo messsenger, windows live messenger, etc.) and all the drivers and components are working. Please Help.
