Tried iatkos v7 but cant seem to get pass the apple logo. Any gurus here have installed on this laptop before? Care to share some customize settings? Thanks in advance. I got iAtkosv7 installed on that laptop, only Wifi, Ethernet and card reader not working. At one point I managed to enable full QE/CI but then had to reinstall again because of endless reboot caused by the cardbus driver (do not install that!!) I've been trying to reenable full QE/CI but to no avail. If anyone knows how to properly do this please help me.Anyway I followed this post : Got it working finally ... I have an Acer 5738G and following is a quick guide on how I got things going:1) Use iAtkos 7.0 - Burn at low rate - I burned at 2x 2) Selected the following packages during installation Chameleon 2 DSDT patch Apple Decrypt SMBBIOS EFI AIR Disabler Both the packages for GT200 (the other was EVGA if I remember correctly) Intel Speedstep - Voodoo Power Intel SATA/IDE - ICHX Sound - Voodoo HDA PS/2 Apple driver Zydas USB (external wireless as Intel 5100 Wifi is not supported) Needless to say some of the package selection will vary depending upon your system. After reboot, installed the XDarwin package attached in this thread and rebooted, the graphics worked like a charm As for the Xdarwin package, just google it. I tried to upload but failed, so just Google it Hope this helps! I'm still scratching my head trying to solve that Ethernet and QE/CI thingy. Hehe. Update: The Intel 5100 Wifi won't work because there's still no kext for it. Bummer. Somebody's trying to make it work...just cross your fingers Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/173025-help-to-install-leopard-on-acer-aspire-4736g/#findComment-1256549 Share on other sites
