rd(0,1)/mach_kernel.voodoo busratio=20 -v -f rd=disk0s2.

From this, Ive dissected it and determined:

rd=disk0s2. sets up which disk to boot

-f does something not related to the kernel

-v starts up with diagnostic messeges

busratio=20 sets up the CPU multiplier.

That line doesn't work, so look at what we have:

rd(0,1)/mach_kernel.voodoo

This line is broken for me, probably because I have an IDE DVD-Drive and not a SATA dvd drive.

/mach_kernel.voodoo also sounds like a file plus its location. Luckily, I have Ubuntu linux, which is Unix-based just like OS X. Can I download mach_kernel.voodoo and insert it in disk0s2's root, and change it to rd(0,2)/mach_kernel.voodoo?
