First I used parts of forums from all over. Second I have netflix running in another window. I will not take full credit but I did a lot of researching for this method!

1. First in the bios if u have 2 ethernet ports and boot roms. TURN THEM ALL ON. Showing or not in os x.

2. Second I don't know if this helped (doubt it)*Asus P5W DH Users only*. hxxp://www.mediafire.com/?dtdjyjyew0u for gigabyte_ds3-4pack.1.2.dmg

3. I believe this is the most important step! Select BootP as your protocol. Set it up, apply it. Even try and browse in safari. You will of course error out. But it makes OS X look at BootP... I believe this makes OS X get all the MAC info.

4. I am running the 3.0 silverlight beta. Again I don't know if this fixed it, but i'm not chancing it. I did the show contents and extracted only the plugin runtime.

I believe this is the main problem. The people who had the SMBIOS problem were only half the struggle. You need SMBIOS to get MAC hardware info. The second part and my part was you need to enable it, and have drivers able to get that MAC info. Silverlight with netflix uses MAC info to make a unique (8152) DRM. For the P5W DH users I am on the lower ethernet port with netflix working. Top ethernet is not even showing. I believe long as the drivers let u see it, bios is enabled for boot rom, and u atleast make the network interface see it once. It will work.

I busted my @$$ on this one. I helped a fellow user break the dumb PPC silverlight error. Please let me know how this works for you fellow Netflix users.
