komar_kzy
I have a little problem after update from 10.5.4 to 10.5.5. I used update pack with some kind of a script in the terminal. Unfortunetly during the install process there there was something like "permision danied" in the terminal and I suppouse it didnt made its job. Now Im havig "U have to power off your computer by pressing the button" little information. Is it possible to get rid of it from the start console? If yes can anyone please (step by step) tell me what do I need to do? Thanks Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/172471-casual-problem-update-1054-to-1055/ Share on other sites
Beerkex'd
You probably forgot to run the script as root. Boot from your install DVD, run Terminal and delete AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext from /System/Library/Extensions, and extensions.mkext from /System/Library.
