Malfean
This is my first foray into trying to install OSX onto a PC. Downloaded the iPC 10.5.6 universal ppf5 distro, burned it up, and tried to boot off the DVD, which isn't working. When I boot in verbose mode, I'm getting I/O errors. SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x03, ASC = 0x11 , ASCQ = 0x05 SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed, SENSE_KEY = 0x03, ASC = 0x02 , ASCQ = 0x05 I've got a Dell Dimension E510 with Intel 945G chipset, two 250GB western digital SATA hard drives, and a Sony NEC Optiarc 3570a DVD burner, not sure what is causing the I/O errors here. I've tried unplugging both of the hard drives one at a time, but no luck, still generates I/O errors. Malfean
Also just tried reburning the disc in case that was the issue, no dice. I'm currently downloading iDeneb 10.5.5 to give that a whirl, but was hoping I could use iPC.
