Any one can help us? I have same problem and hope there is a driver to fix this issue.

From System Profiler, it is already recognize as USB WLAN :

 

USB2.0 WLAN:

do not work for ar9170,as far as i know has driver for linux,anybody can made linux driver to osx

For a french newbie in the mac/linux world.... it's difficult to understand how to male a driver....

 

i have the same wifi usb, and don't know how to run it...

i'll would like kismac reconize it...

Sorry, but I need to push this old Thread... I have still problems to get the Wlan Stick installed...

The link above seems to be for pci/pcmcia cards only... but I need to install the Wlan USB Stick :rolleyes:

I tried many hours, but it still don't works :(

Is there any solution yet?

 

I even got an Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 3945ABG but the driver I found for this is causing a kernel panic :S

 

Can anyone help me please? :)

Download DWA-160 mac drivers

Install

extract kext from installer

edit plist and change or add your device id and product id converted to decimal

use kext helper and install modified kext

use dwa-160 app to connect

 

If someone can write tutorial then do it :)
