Georgii
Hello fellow members, I have been desiring to install Mac OS X on my PC, as a MacBook Pro costs way beyond my budget. I have bought a DV7t earlier, and ever since wanted to use Mac as my primary OS. I happen to know that Boot-132 is the best method of successfully installing a retail Mac OS X--it's on the way, downloading. This is not the issue, however. I am quite curious to know whether Kexts for my specifications do exist, whether I'd face technical problems on the way (due to drivers or hardware, or the likeness). I would like you to excuse my idiocy for this time, as I have zero expertise in this area of installing Mac on a PC. My motherboard specifications are as follows: Manufacturer: Compal Model: 30F4 Version: 99.95 North Bridge: Intel PM45 Revision 07 South Bridge: Intel 82801IM (ICH-9-M) Revision 07 CPU: Intel® Core2 Duo CPU P7350 @ 2.00 GHz Would installing it have any side effects? I have only read a brief way on how to use the Bootloader, is there anything else to be done after installing Leopard? Or is that it? I'd be a happy camper after instaling it? I'm tremendously sorry for having so many newb-like questions, but everyone's got to start somewhere, and I hope you'd be kind to help me begin my journey with an everlastingly amazing Mac experience. I hereby kindly thank each and every one of you that comes forth and lends me a hand with this. Furthermore, I would also like to thank everyone who took part in making the OSx86 project successful! Have a splendid day, everyone! Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/172327-installing-mac-os-x-105-on-hp-pavillion-dv7t/ Share on other sites
