bobbo
I tried installing leopard in quite a few different ways. The most recent of which is by using the boot cd made by http://leopardsoup.pbworks.com/ and using my authentic OSX dvd. I'm able to get it installed and even able to start up leopard on it, however, after installing either the 10.5.6 or the 10.5.7 combo updates, the system is hanging up at the white apple screen. When i boot in verbos mode, the last thing it says is ArcMSR:setPowerState time out after xxx seconds Still Waiting for root device. Anybody have any advice? I know that the instructions at http://leopardsoup.pbworks.com/ were made for the GA-EP45-UD3P but mine is the same board except it uses ddr3 instead of ddr2, i don't think that this could be the culprit. Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks! Also, on the previous line, it says "HCIController configurepm power parent ready after 1 tries".
