Ron Overdrive
Ok with the recent death of my non-osx compatable laptop I'm in the market for something more mobile so I have my eyes on the MSI Wind U100 which is OSX compatable. Now I have a problem when it comes to making the LiveUSB stick: I don't have a real mac at home or working osx86 installation. I've tried for 3 days to get it working on my desktop and I just gave up. I ended up installing Ubuntu 9.04 instead. So my question is really three fold here. 1) is it possible to create a MSIWindOSX LiveUSB from Linux? 2) is it possible to create a MSIWindOSX LiveUSB from the installer disc on my desktop? 3) is there a OSx86 LiveDVD I can (hopefully) use to create the LiveUSB? I have macs at work I can use, but I would like to avoid using them if at all possible as its hard to justify this at work and if I need root privilages I don't have them.
