drivers for ehternet, sound and dvd writer

Hi all,

 

I'm new here and really appreciate the information all of you guys have provided here on amazing

 

web-board.

 

Well, to long story short, I've installed "ideneb" on my nearly 3 years old "acer aspire 4720" laptop after more than couple of times rather bitter failing experiences with "ipc",etc.

 

Now it's up and running, but with neither internet nor sound...

 

Could anyone out there with similar experience help me with this, oh and my laptop wouldn't recognize dvd writer as well?
