ryansimms
I've searched the forums but haven't been able to find an answer. I'm new so please go easy on me. My system clock is running fast and I think it's preventing some of my music apps from running properly (Pro Tools, Garage Band). I assembled a unit based on the GA-EX58-UD3R mobo and 920 i7 chip. I installed PCEFI v9 using a on-click installer I found at i hackintosh dot com (it's not letting me post an external link for some reason) I'm using a vanilla 9.7.0 kernel on 10.5.7. I have these extensions installed at Extra: AHCIPortInjector.kext Disabler.kext dsmos.kext IOAHCIBlockStorageInjector.kext OpenHaltRestart.kext and these at S/L/E AppleSMBIOSEFI.kext RealtekR1000.kext HDAEnabler.kext VoodooHDA.kext I added an EFI string for my graphics card using OSX86 Tools I changed some of my BIOS settings to match the screenshot found in Digital Dreamer's guide. I keep getting this error in system.log(console continuously spits out this error every 3 seconds): Jun 20 12:31:33 Ryan-Simmss-Hackintosh kernel[0]: IOHIDSystem::relativePointerEventGated: Capping VBL time to 20000000 (was 22205563) Jun 20 12:31:33 Ryan-Simmss-Hackintosh kernel[0]: WARNING: AppleUSBAudio has detected that clock_get_uptime () value changed radically from previous values I'm hoping that this is part of the problem why my Waves Plugins aren't properly loading. Thanks so much Ryan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/171638-fast-clock-on-ga-ex58-ud3r/ Share on other sites
