Right. So I built my own computer (Intel Quad Core 2.83 GHz + P5K Deluxe WiFi AP) and installed XP on it. Then I went ahead and installed Leopard using the Boot 123 CD method but in the process when I was partitioning space on the HD I stupidly wrote over the partition I had for XP, deleting it.

I thought I'd just reinstall XP but when I try to it tells me that I'll have to delete the selected partition and write over it and I'm afraid this would delete Leopard.

It was suggested to me that I partition some space on my HD as MS-DOS using the Leopard start up disc, but whenever I restart the computer and enter darwin it just boots straight up ignoring the start up disc.

Any help is appreciated. Please and thank you.

You would need to change the boot order so the dvd drive is booted from first.
