typhoch2 Posted June 18, 2009 Share Posted June 18, 2009 Hey i'v had an problem with the still waiting for root device, I put in my iDeneb 1.4 10.5.6 and just klick on the things I does I first intalled and let the OSX installing as actualisation. Now my internal keyboard, the touchpad and any usb device don't work. I have tested start with -v -x but nothing happens. When I type -s -v I couldn't type anything too. Now I don't know what to do. Is it possible to boot with dvd and delete something on the harddisk or something like that? I need my data, can I backup it anyhow and reinstall? TechWiz Posted June 20, 2009 Share Posted June 20, 2009 You can try rd=disk1s2 (or whatever your DVD drive is) as a boot flag and that will boot OS X but use the kernel and extensions from the DVD.
