spinner2727
I've been working for days to try to get sleep working, and I feel like i'm so close. Before, my computer wouldn't even go to sleep; it would just stop responding on a black screen. I figured out that my problem was the USB, and using the patched IOUSBFamily finally allowed it to sleep properly! I was so excited, but then I hit another roadblock. It doesn't wake up. The display never comes back, and i'm fairly certain that the computer is non-responsive underneath. I've been banging my head against the wall trying to figure out why. I've read so many things that could be the problem, from video drivers to having a patched AppleHDA, and heard mentions of being able to fix sleep with DSDT patching. However, I really don't know what to do. The only clue about the problem is that I get are 3 lines in the console log right before the sleep: login[139]: DEAD_PROCESS: 139 ttys000 kernel[0]: [interruptReadHandler] Received kIODeviceNotResponding error - retrying 1. kernel[0]: IOBluetoohHCIController::terminateWL .. done Does this mean there's a problem with my internal bluetooth adapter? I heard that there might be problems with bluetooth when sleeping, but i've disabled bluetooth on my laptop. Any ideas on what my problem could be? This is really the only thing that's not working on my retail install, which makes me want to fix it even more! Thanks. Kasakka
I'm suffering from similar symptoms. Computer goes to sleep nicely but when it wakes up I get no display and I think nothing else works either. Don't have bluetooth myself so it's most likely not just that.
