Im running a DFI Lanparty jr gf9400mobo, intel q8300 core2quad, 4GB ocz ram... ive got XP on a 250GB SATA drive, and I installed 10.5.2 on a 80GB IDE drive. First, I went into bios and set CD to boot, but during installation, got the 'waiting for root device error', so i changed ide to AHCI, and retried and the DVD worked... tried installs a few times and finally got it to install after using vanilla kernel and the nvidia 512 driver... Now... I went ahead and put BIOS back to normal, and changed boot order on the HD to take the osx drive first. It gives me the darwin boot prompt, and regardless of wether I let it load on its own, use safe mode, etc., It will always reboot about 5 lines of command in, and it flashes so fast that Im not able to see what the last line says, and becomes a loop unless i go into bios and change HD order back to XP HD.. Anyone have any ideas here on how to get OSX to actually BOOT??
