Hi

I have successfully installed iDeneb v1.4 10.5.6 however I have three issues

1. There is no sound device present

2. There is no Ethernet

3. Graphics has only a resolution if 1024 * 768

My hardware is an Intel motherboard GTPLKR. I think the specifications are as follows:

Audio:

Sigmatel 9220

Graphics:

Intel 945G Express Chipset

Networking:

Intel® 82562GZ 10/100 Mbit/sec Platform LAN Connect (PLC) device with RJ-45 connector

Intel® 82573E or 82573V Gigabit Ethernet Controller with RJ-45 connector

Does anyone know how I can get these devices working?

I need help too! There should be a huge driver database that has all the drivers (that have been created so far) where you can download and try them! Why isn't there something like that?

I have successfully installed iDeneb 1.4 also (except my Leo says its 10.5.5) I have gotten my sound working (High Definition Audio Device is what it comes up as in windows) from here http://code.google.com/p/voodoohda/

I downloaded that and used kext helper to install it and it worked! So I am happy about that...

However my internet (wifi device: Atheros AR5007EG) and Graphics card (Mobile Intel® 4 Series Express Chipset Family, which is similar to yours) still I have not found drivers for!

yeah the kext file repository would be great. I've done all this about two years ago when i installed 10.5.1 but i've since had to go back and do all my research again because I got a bit out of the loop.

Ohh well, guess i should have documented my setup and backed up my .kexts before i reformatted.

Anyway, from what I read it's possible to get the device id of the components that are not working and then update the .plist file in the appropriate .kext

Not sure if that will work but if I find a guide i'll try it out tomorrow.
