Hi guys.

I recently setup and installed OS X 10.4.6 from a 10.4.4 (with 10.4.5 patch on disc) installer DVD. I'm assuming the reason SSE3 isn't showing up is because I'm using a kernel that patches out SSE3? PS.. Yes my CPU does have SSE3 (Pentium 4 3.2GHz Prescott.. SSE2/3/XD)

Here's sysinfo:

Hardware Overview:

Machine Name: Apple Development Platform

Machine Model: ADP2,1

CPU Type: Intel® Pentium® 4 CPU

Number Of CPUs: 2

CPU Speed: 3.07 GHz

L2 Cache (per CPU): 1 MB

CPU Features: FPU VME DE PSE TSC MSR PAE MCE CX8 APIC SEP MTRR PGE MCA CMOV PAT PSE36 CLFSH DS ACPI MMX FXSR SSE SSE2 SS HTT TM EST

Memory: 512 MB

Bus Speed: 800 MHz

Boot ROM Version: 6.00 PG (Phoenix Technologies, LTD)

How could I get SSE3 working? A new kernel?

Regards,

Dave.
