How it was resolved:

Did everything exactly like the guide says except I used the 10.5.6 updatecombo file from apples website first. Then let it double restart. Then after it hit the desktop I used Uinstaller and installed everything I needed and wanted. Then restarted. Then ran software updates and only selected 10.5.7 and installed it. It rebooted twice and is now working perfectly.

Below is my original messege.

System Specs

Motherboard: Gigabyte P35-DS3L Rev 2.0 - F7 BIOS

Memory: Crucial 4GB

CPU: Q6600 2.4 Quad

Video: MSI Geforce 7300GS

Hard Drive: WD 1TB 7200RPM

DVD: LG SuperMulti

Boot132 -> Retail Leopard Install -> 10.5.7 ComboUpdate

The Problem:

After having a perfect install of the retail leo DVD I get to the desktop and go to install the 10.5.7 combo update and it grey screen crashes halfway. I have also gotten it to where it will get through the update restart once then restarts again at the white loading screen and when it reaches the white loading screen again it crashes there about 15 seconds into it.

I've tried a different video card, different RAM, different HDD and I've unplugged everything exept main components.

I have no options left.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
