drtome1 Posted June 17, 2009 Share Posted June 17, 2009 Hi, I installed iPC 10.5.6 PPF5 on a Sony VGN C2S laptop next to Win 7 7227. OSX boots fine with the laptop in AC mode, but with an unplugged AC cable is hangs at the grey screen with apple logo. drtome1 Posted June 18, 2009 Author Share Posted June 18, 2009 Hi Daveta, I installed the VoodooBattery.kext and now I have two battery meters in the finder and OSX still does not start if not connected to AC power. The battery was also recognized before and the percentage calculation was quite acurate.
