da_jokker
I've been fighting with getting OSx86 installed for a couple of weeks. I spend days with iDeneb, then I tried iPC, and it wasn't until I took a step back and tried Kalyway did I get success. The problem is that I can not seem to get Kalyway past 10.5.5 without 'bricking' my system. So I'm starting to think about iPC or iDeneb again which takes me back to my initial problem. On any distro but Kalway, when I put the install DVD in, it starts to boot, I see the gray Apple screen, but then when it goes to load the setup menu, I get a blank blue screen. I can tell it's loaded but I just can't see what is going on. It seems that most issues that are talked about deal with after the install and trying to boot up for the first time..... I can't even get to the install screen. Also, the "movevideodrivers" feature of Kalyway has saved me and it doesn't seem like the other Distro's have that option. Oh...fyi, I'm installing this on a laptop so the display is a widescreen lcd display.
