Atanas Trpceski Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Hi All,, if you can help I'm having trouble installing iDeneb v1.4 on my Gateway MT3421 laptop. After the installation, on the first boot, my computer hangs after the mDNSResponder prints the message: localhost mDNSResponder[34]: couldn't read user specified localhost name; using default instead my computer hardware is the following: 2GB RAM 120 GB ATA Notebook hard drive NVIDIA GeForce Go 6100 Standard PS/2 Keyboard Synaptics PS/2 port Touchpad NVIDIA nForce Networking Controller Realtek 8185 Extensible 802.11b/g wireless device AMD Turioun 64 Mobile Technology MK-38 SigmaTel High Definition Audio Codec When i installed the system, using the custom install I choose the following patches : kernel voodoo 9.5.0 Seatbelt Fix ACPI_SMC_Fix Chipset: AppleGenericPCATA Video: NVinject GO Audio: Sigmatel 9223 Ethernet: nForceEthernetDriver Wireless: Realtek RTL8187 If anyone can help?
