cletusale Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 Hi, I just bought a new computer and I wanted to install mac osx86, I downloaded ideneb 1.4 wich is 10.5.6 and instaled it, I instaled only the core file, no drivers and no fixes first, it instaled and rebooted, when it was loading (with white apple screen) a cancel icon (the circle with the line crosing it) apeared and nothing happens after that, I tried later installing using the voodo kernel and using the fixed bios for my ram (800 mhz) but nothing changed, the cancel icon still apears, I dont know what to do, please help me, maybe somenone that installed idaneb 1.4 with the same mother board I have. My computer specs -intel dg31pr motherboard -core 2 duo e7400 2.8 procesor -kingston 2gb 800 mhz ram -seagate sata hd 250 gb -ecs nvidia geforce 9400 gt 512 mb video card if more info about the pc is needed please tell me so I can tell you I just have 1 partition on the hard drive, just the mac partition wich is formated with mac osx journaled. sorry for my bad english Thanks, I would Apreciate your help Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170971-ideneb-14-install-problem-please-help/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
dr.vox Posted June 16, 2009 Share Posted June 16, 2009 You NEED to select a Chipset Driver during install. Looking at your mobo I'd expect you're on ICH of some sort, which means you should select the Intel ICHx kext. cletusale Posted June 16, 2009 Author Share Posted June 16, 2009 Thanks, it worked, now theres no cancel icon but after a while with the white screen the screen turns black and the monitor´s on off led starts blinking like if theres no signal, could it be a video driver or is it something else, ill try with nvinject 512 mb, ill report it was the video driver, I tried nvinject 512 mb and it worked but when I change the resolution it leads to a blue screen and it stays like that, Ill try nvdarwin 512 or something like that, ill report nvdrawin didnt work, the black screen and the monitor light blinking are back, ill try the third driver, the ones made by diabolic or something, ill report Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170971-ideneb-14-install-problem-please-help/#findComment-1179276 Share on other sites More sharing options...
