user01100
The issue probably is that you are trying to boot the version of tiger that is for PPC processors and you have a late mac that has an Intel processor...so that's what's the issue... What to do...try and find the cds or dvd version of tiger (10.4.4) who has an intel support...that's the version when apple started to use intel processors...10.4.4...and i think they made a version of cds or dvd to be able to boot on intel mac also... i think..if you are not scared of trying staff that are not officially meant to be...you can try JaS DVD of tiger version 10.4.8...who's meant for pc users but i think it can also boot it on real mac 'cause is pre-pc_efi and you will not need to choose any of the staff (patches) for pc just the staff for mac...and also is the complete version with additional options...the next step is to hit the software update button...(after installing it)...and you are 10.4.11 the last version of tiger...(this is the part that for pc users if you tried to do this was the part that crashed the system if you didn't take some precautions first)... good luck...don't give up because is a problem that has a solution... user01100
Yep listen to the man and not me...at this point... 'cause after google it a little bit...that is an issue that should be taken in consideration before mine...cheap thinking...!...(from apple)...why spend some money building drivers for an old os...even if someone might like it better or might need it for some 'whatever' reason...when we can deliver better os and promote it as well...and not thinking of past days...Bump for you...!...
