avhenig
I'm building my first hackintosh computer and i want to know if the parts i choose will work. Also any advice is welcome. This is what i have so far: CPU: Intel Q9550 MB: GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3LR or GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-UD3P GPU: PNY VCGGTS2501XPB GeForce GTS 250 1GB or EVGA 01G-P3-1155-TR GeForce GTS 250 1GB Startup Disk: 2X RAID 0: G.SKILL FALCON FM-25S2S-128GBF1 2.5" 128GB SATA II MLC SSD PSU: FSP Group ZEN 400 400W ATX 2.2V Fanless Power Supply DVD Burner: SAMSUNG Black 22X SATA DVD Burner RAM: 2X: OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) What do you think? I have some questions. Number one will it all be compatible and will it work as a hackintosh? Two, does the motherboard have firewire, and if so 400 or 800? Also about the motherboard, i have two 1tb WD Caviar Green hard drives, will i be able to put them in raid 0 for storage as well as the ssd's? Will the PSU be powerfull enough? And am i missing any peices (ecxept the case) that i need or are usefull? Any ides a good case i can get, there are so many that i don't know where to start. It doesn't have to be small.. but not to big, it has to fit under a desk. Also i'm going to use this computer for recording so it has to be as quiet as possible. thanx in advance Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170800-my-first-hackintosh-need-some-help/ Share on other sites
