Rodsand
Hello! -I did not find a better forum to put this thread in, but I am sure you moderators can help me out if it should be moved to another cathegory- This is the situation: I have used a MB the last two years at school, and now I want to turn my old pc into a Mac as well. The setup: Asus A8N-SLI SE AMD Athlon 2X 4200+ (2.2ghz) nVidia GeForce 7900GT 256mb 2x1GB Geil -something- According to the wiki, all of my hardware should be supported and all drivers covered. I must say that I am lost in the jungle of ways to install OSX on my machine - and that I know not where to start. I tried the Kalyway 10.5.2, and it freezes during setup(during the first cm of the loading bar) The iDeneb v1.4 freezes when I hit the welcome screen, and -v does not get me further. So I have started downloading iDeneb v1.3 to see if it works. In december last year, I actually installed OSX on the very same machine and setup, but it produced kernel panics randomly, which made me run back to W2k. So here I am - in desperate need of help and OSX. Someone, point me in the right direction.. Please? I do not really know where to start or whats most likely to work on my machine. Thanks, Marius from Norway. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170793-which-option-is-most-likely-to-work/ Share on other sites
