speech Posted September 1, 2005 Share Posted September 1, 2005 Hello. I've a fujitsu siemens laptop (amilo m 1425 - pentium m - radeon 9600). The generic DVD isn't going very far : after skipping some extensions, it stops. Then I have added all the extensions from darwin801.iso and it's better : using -s I can access to the prompt. If I do sh /etc/rc it continues. But there are 3 "creating RAM disk" problems : "IOKit timed out waiting for driver to load". After that, it speaks about oah750d and "compatible cache found and loaded". But that's all : it ends with a ATSServer error. picture Any ideas ? What is weird it's that won't even work in VMWare. I've carefully followed the instructions and checked the md5sum... Thanks for reading me. speech Posted September 2, 2005 Author Share Posted September 2, 2005 I've tried Generic-Tiger.iso from the pirate bay. It is said to be the Marklar + bender patch 3. With this one I have "SAM Multimedia: READ or WRITE failed" and it loops... Any idea ? EDIT : ok, I should clean my disk. EDIT 2 : doesn't change anything. speech Posted November 27, 2005 Author Share Posted November 27, 2005 GREAT NEWS : 10.4.3 BF1099 + Maxxuss 1.1 patch is working with, I think, 3D support (50 fps at openGL Xbench test). Install with mach_kernel.nonx Ethernet OK, sound OK, no wifi sad.gif 1024*768 instead of 1280*800, but it works. I know it's double post.
