jzelez
Hi guys! First of all, thank you for all your help for getting me into OS X world. I've been a heavy OS X user for about a year now, and I didn't regret the switch even once. Now I'm on a hunt for the "perfect" video editing hackintosh, but I really could use your tips on this one. So here's the (current) full HW list I'm considering: Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5, Intel X58+ICH10R Intel Core i7 920 MSI N9800GTX PLUS,DDR3,512GB,2xDVI, OC MSI N9800GTX PLUS,DDR3,512GB,2xDVI, OC Corsair 6GB, 3x2GB, 1600 MHz DDR3 Corsair 6GB, 3x2GB, 1600 MHz DDR3 WD Caviar Black 3.5" 500MB 32MB 7200RPM SATA II WD Caviar Black 3.5" 1TB 32MB 7200RPM SATA II Samsung SH-S223Q, DVD±RW, SATA Linksys WMP300N, 802.11n, PCI Firewire 800 controller IEEE1394b, 2+1 port PCI Apple Keyboard + Mighty Mouse I'm would really like to know if it is possible to get SLI graphics, firewire, surround sound (onboard) and wireless working? And also would like to have as little as possible kext hacks/installs. Any input is appreciated.
