tech3475
I have tried to install ideneb 1.4 on my laptop, however I have problems with two pieces of hardware, the sound and networking. The sound adapter is a conexant high definition smartaudio 221, the speaker works fine but the headphones do not. The network adapters are intel wireless wifi link 4965AGN and Marvell yukon 88E8039 PCI-E fast thernet controller and both dont work (yes they are switched on). My laptop uses ICH8 and follows the intel centrino standard, I have looked but am yet to find a working solution. Can anyone help? tech3475
Am I better off putting these problems in the individual categories? I am not sure though whether there is a single common problem. Khan_Man
well, for the sound I'd try the VoodooHDA project (just search for it). Intel wireless is probably hopeless. I assume you've searched all over the internet? U might consider a USB wireless solution. I've only played with one Marvell network and it worked OOB so I didn't do a lot of homework on it. I'd search for this one. Khan Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/170583-problems-with-several-drivers/#findComment-1185799 Share on other sites
