RTL8180L 802.11b MAC (rev 20) Both installs successful but after reboot I get: "Still waiting for root device" After some messages about FireWire. I am not applying any chipset patch, is that my problem here? If that's my problem, what chipset patch/driver do I need for the above hardware? Is it my "Volume Scheme"? I am selecting "1 Partition" in the Disk Utility during install. Should I be using some other Volume scheme? Also tried iDeneb v1.4 (10.5.6) on the same hardware. It never finishes installing. Sits at "Time remaining: About a minute" and never completes. Thanks for any help. newguy2009
Okay I found my problem. Apparently this hardware requires the ICHx chipset. That wasn't clear to me from any instructions I found.
