takezo808 Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 I got my PAC (Half PC/Half Mac), running beautifully, dual booting with Windows 7 RC. I got my video card (Nvidia 8600GTS)to work by installing NVinject.kext via Kext helper. I have QE suported and CI Hardware Accelerated. before anyone post "oh it should work", I have previous experience installing Linux, you need OpenGL enabled drivers to run games. I have been itching to play Diablo II to on OSX. Nvinject has an installer which supposedly installs the kext, opengl frame work, and the open gl drivers. The installer does not work for my setup. this is the reason why I installed the kext seperately with kext helper (very good app, those who hate typing comands should try it). Anyone know how to install open gl frame work and opengldrivers seperately? I extracted the files from the NVinject 41dmg using pacifist.
