macmorris Posted June 10, 2009 Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hello all, i would like to boot from my USB 16 GB Stick first IPC 10.5.6 to install on a PC or second Windows XP to install on a PC. Is there a way or a bootloader to handle that ? How can i do that under Mac OSX and wich tools i need ? Thank´s for answers. Marius21 Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 Well Chameleon RC1 wouldn't mind booting from USB. I tried it too on my HDD Enclosing. It boots fine from MBR, but on MBR/GPT hybrid, well it mixed up everything. Not even FreeDOS would see the HDD well. I would recommend block copying a install DVD on a HFS+ partition and then installing Chameleon, but I don't know if it will boot pre-patched releases like iPC (probably will). Also I think you would have a lot of trouble finding a way to put a Windows install on USB. I personally had.
