Subby Posted June 10, 2009 Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hi, i have copied my 10.5.7 updated osx to my laptop harddrive & all is well but i have no network or wireless, & firewire is not working (but it is seen by the system) also i'm getting a lot of idle CPU usage, "pmTool" & WindowServer" are both fluctuating between 4 & 10% a am running the Voodoo Kernel with no DDST patch any help most welcome! thanks in advance! Removing AppleHPET.kext will resolve your firewire problems 90% of the time if it is recognized. There are no wireless drivers for the Intel 3945, so no go there. For your wired networking you need to find out what chipset you have, you can try the drivers for the Intel 82562V but that is a shot in the dark. There is another driver written for a variety of Intel chips that may work, but I cannot remember who made it.
