awca22
Recently i tried to update to 10.5.6 and to 10.5.7 and my system crash so a friend of my told me that using a retail Leopard would make me update leopard as if it was a real mac, I just want to install The Sims 3 so i need leopard 10.5.7. Can someone guide me on how to install a retail version of leopard , but i cant burn any double layer disc i just have a removable hard drive that i can use , I had seen that they had done it that way. Does updating this way is safe? And the last question How do i install all my kexts again , how do i know which to backup and how to restore them? vegaman
Have a read of the stickies at the top of the forum, they'll help you. If you have a working non-retail install and an image of a retail disc you can install the retail version to another drive from that, there's instructions in one of those threads on how to do that.
