These are all the patches that I checked:

9.6.0 Vanilla Kernel

Intel GMA 950

Intel ICHx SATA Drivers

Azalia Audio

Shutdown/Restart fix

AppleSMBIOS EFI

 

Everything works properly except:

 

1. GMA 950 doesn't seem to be properly supported. I have an LCD with a maximum resolution of 1680x1050 that I want to take advantage of but I can't simply switch to these resolution because it doesn't appear in the Display Preferences. All Resolutions appear in the Display Prefs Pane except widescreen resolutions (including 1680x1050). Maximum that can be found there is 1600x1200.

2. Its built-in audio (ALC888) doesn't work with its patch so I use Azalia Audio, only giving me Line-out(speakers). Mic-in and Line-in doesn't work

 

 

ANY HELP WOULD BE DEEPLY GRATIFIED..I SPENT MY WHOLE DAY ON THIS MAC MINI CLONE (THIS IS INDEED A GREAT MAC MINI CLONE) BUT I HAVEN'T FOUND THE RIGHT SOLUTIONS TO THESE ISSUES. ANY HELP WOULD BE REALLY GRATIFIED....THANKS A LOT FOR READING..

Just wanted to say that I'm working with a similar set up.

 

Mainboard from Aopen I945GMT-FSA GMA950 ICH7M Chipset, Core 2 Duo 2.16GHz

 

I've stalled out on the same issues since I had no succes with any drivers for the GMA950 Device ID: 0x27a2.

 

So I used a workaround: My board has a mini PCIe port which I used for a PCIe 1X graphics Card a Radeon X1550 from HIS.

 

This with the proper driver gave me full Resolution and QE/CI support.

 

As for the sound Issues I havn't worked anything out on that, I'm afraid....

 

So plse keep your findings posted, as will I on any progress I make.
