I am new to this i only found out about this a few days ago, i really like using macs when im at college and i want to know if any of my computer will run and which version shall i download. Computer: MB: MSI K9AGM2 CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4000+ RAM: 3GB HDD1: 160GB IDE Hitachi HDD2: 500GB Sata Hitachi GPU: ATi Radeon HD 2600 Pro 512MB PCI-e Laptop: Acer Travelmate 5510 MB: Unknown CPU: AMD Turion 64 X2 LT-56 RAM : 2GB HDD: 160GB SATA GPU: ATi Mobility Radeon X1300 Please could some one please tell me if my systems could have it installed and which version shall i install. I have tried iATKOS and it let me boot from cd and then it just sat at the grey screen spinning for 2 hours untill i gave up on both systems, i have alos just tried iPC_OSx86_10.5.6 on both system it got to the same bit but after about 5mins a got a error sight like a no go sign. Thanks all. LeeMcN Posted June 10, 2009 Author Share Posted June 10, 2009 Hi, them test are done on my desktop, im gonna give up on the laptop as it a sata and none of the one's i have tried will detect the sata. and due to the laptop being a acer it has a limited bios/cmos so i cant change any values.
