ColinFox
ok i just installed iDeneb 10.5.6 on my dell laptop and it runs great. Everything works, wifi, audio, video. The problem comes when every time i try to download a .dmg file on safari i get the most famous "please hold down the power buttom to restart your computer". i would really like some help with this to know why this is happening. Thanks, Colin Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169886-help-cant-download-anything/ Share on other sites
mercury187
Same problem here too Any ideas people please? Azimutz
That seems like the infamous seatbelt.kext problem!? The kernel panic is when the dmg is being mounted? If so, check the text that appears with the kernel panic for some reference about "seatbelt". That kext must match the version of the kernel you are using.. e.g.: if you are using 9.0.6 kernel you have to use seatbelt.kext from 10.5.6 update.
