mr.morton
Hi, I need a to put together a computer that will run osx, after looking through this forum and other sites I am alittle confused... Can anybody recommend a system setup that will run without any problems, if this is possible at all? Hope someone can help me, I would prefer a system running Opteron, but not required. Kind Regards mr. Morton Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16972-a-working-configuration/ Share on other sites
bofors
If you want absolutely no problems, you still need to go with Intel at this point. Picking the motherboard is critical and you want to go with an Intel D915 or D945 series with built-in GMA 900 or 950 graphics. Basically, the D915 will be cheaper but does support Pentium D's. I have no problems with my system and have detailed it here: http://forum.osx86project.org/index.php?showtopic=7393 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/16972-a-working-configuration/#findComment-109532 Share on other sites
