ergosteur
Hello, Sorry if this has been resolved elsewhere, but I've been searching for a while now and have had no luck yet. I installed Mac OS X 10.5.5 on my Apple TV. I'm using the Voodoo kernel 1.0 with AppleDecrypt.kext and Disabler.kext. Everything works perfectly (after all, it's a real Apple machine), except for the Realtek ALC885 audio. What's weird is that System Profiler shows "Intel High Definition Audio" and 0x10EC0885, but in System Prefs>Audio, it says "no audio device". I've tried copying the AppleHDA.kext from the original Apple TV OS, but no luck. Does anyone have a known working kext for the Apple TV's ALC885? Would I need to use HDAenabler or ALCinject? Or should i try installing Linux on it and getting a codec dump? Thanks in advance.
