Fred123
Hello, I have been trying to install Mac OS X with Boot 132 on a Thinkpad, problem I got stuck pretty quickly ... What I' m using : this Boot-132 iso : http://www.mediafire.com/?uwd9dtttjfk Mac OS X 10.5.2 original DVD (2 DVD) Thinkpad X61 7673-D75 (Intel Core 2 Duo T7250, X3100, 82566MM) (never tried iDeneb or anything like, but according to the wiki Mac OS X can run on this laptop) What I did : In the BIOS I set SATA mode in compatibility mode as someone advised on this forum for this particular laptop I boot with the Boot CD insert the original Mac OS DVD no 1 then I have the blank screen with the grey apple (I also tried the -v option, no particular error appears) then a blue screen come now the problem : then I have the Leopard wallpaper and the rainbow wheel turning and that's it … it keep turning without end, no HD activity, no DVDROM activity What I' m wondering : How can I know what is the problem? Get some logs? Is Mac OS X 10.5.2 too old to do that? As the X61 does not have any DVD drive, I use an external one, can it make any pb with the install? Should I use another Boot 132 and add some kext, if yes where should I begin? Any idea to get started? Thanks for your help Fred Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/169686-problem-with-boot-132-on-a-thinkpad-x61/ Share on other sites
